Guest Blogger: Sarah Salvadore
Sarah Salvadore has been a journalist for a decade, working for the Times of India in Calcutta and Hyderabad. She has covered a number of beats and is an extremely versatile writer. Apart from writing on culture, lifestyle, fashion and social issues, she has a fair share of Bollywood in her resume.
Currently, she’s on a break from the newsroom and is pursuing academics. Sarah is part of the first cohort at Columbia Journalism School (USA), specializing in Data Journalism. She is concentrating on media innovation – merging technology with traditional journalism and building tools for the newsroom.
Sarah also specializes in data-driven investigative projects and focuses on Gender Migration issues, reporting on the Syrian and Central American refugee crisis.
She stays in New York City and loves a good book, Netflix and yummy food.
