Guest Blogger: Aman Bhonsle
Aman Bhonsle is an award-winning Promotions Producer, Writer, Director and Creative Producer currently working in Singapore for AXN Asia (Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks Asia).
With over seven years of experience in the creative industry, he started his career as a copy-writer in an advertising agency (Lowe Lintas) and moved onto becoming an assistant director with an ad film production house (Red Ice Films). He also worked for a reality show and made three award-winning short films while doing his post-graduate studies in Film and TV studies.
Aman has worked with leading TV brands such as UTV (now Disney), STAR TV Networks and is currently working in Singapore, crafting branding initiatives and creatives for on-air promotional campaigns for the South East Asian markets.
Aman has a passion for working with untrained actors and has recently taken up DSLR videography to keep pace with his diverse interests.
A man of many tastes & interests, Aman enjoys cooking (and grilling), sketching caricatures and cartooning, improvisational theatre, playing the keyboard, mentoring young media students and blogging about movies (he tries to consume movies before they can consume him).
Obsessed with all things in slow motion and often caught watching dog versus cat videos on YouTube, this multidisciplinary creative gives you a bite out of his unique insight into the Film and TV business, the entertainment of today, what it takes to survive in the media industry and a creative slice of life – with his own twist to all things logical and illogical.
