BOMBAY MOVIE is a documentary which offers a unique glimpse into the making of an independent Hindi film, Barah Ana. The film features Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, and Arjun Mathur in key roles. This revealing documentary follows Raja Menon, an independent filmmaker living in the shadows of India’s Bollywood. Inspired by his watchman to make a film about the city’s overlooked working poor, Raja enlists two foreign producers and a star cast (Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Raaz, Arjun Mathur) to undertake the making of this gritty realist film of his dreams. BOMBAY MOVIE reveals the passion and perils of filming a love letter to India’s biggest, most unpredictable city.

The film is shot and directed by US-based filmmaker Alexandra Eaton.
