Superhit Bollywood Songs of 2016 which were reclaimed

Interestingly a lot of superhit songs of 2016 were reclaimed from earlier songs. They were remixed with permission and these songs scored better on the charts this year than they probably did back when they were originally released. Hence we can safely say that 2016 was the year of remixes. Here are some examples.

Kaala Chasma (Baar Baar Dekho) : This songs was originally composed by Amar Arshi. It released in 2005 and was composed by Kam Dhillon.

Humma Humma (OK Jaanu) : The song was composed by AR Rahman for Manirathnam’s Bombay.

Ae Zindagi (Dear Zindagi) : The song was composed by Ilaiyaraja for the legendary film Sadma starring Sridevi and Kamal Haasan. It was sung by Suresh Wadkar in the original.

Hasseno Ka Deewana (Kaabil) : This song originally featured Amitabh Bachchan in the film Yaarana.

Laila O Laila (Raees) : The song originally featured in Qurbani starring Zeenat Aman and Feroz Khan. It was one of the most well known songs of the era.
