You cannot miss the shankha-pola on her wrists, neither can you miss the chura.  

Rani Mukerji made an appearance dressed up as a Bangali Bou (as well as a Punjabi Bahu) at the North Mumbai Sarbojonin Durgotsav. Her family is the patron of the puja. 

She was beaming with joy as the photographers went into a frenzy, clicking. 

Even though Bollywood Journalist couldn’t make it today at the Puja, Rani was kind enough to send over her pictures to us through her spokesperson.

We are now keenly waiting to see the sindoor khela pictures that will be clicked on Dashami, the last day of Durga Puja. Rani is quite excited to be a part of the ritual as it is traditionally meant for married women.
