However there are a few who did not have the courage to shed off their beautiful tresses and have used a prosthetic for the role.

Sanjay Dutt: He sported a bald look in Karan Johar’s Agneepath where he essayed the role of Kancha Cheena.

Salman Khan:  One of the most eligible bachelors in town, the actor went bald for the emotional drama Tere Naam.

Shilpa Shetty: Shilpa Shetty went  bald  for a scene in an Indo-Chinese project, The Desire, produced by her mother Sunanda Shetty and co-producer Shi Yun.

Arjun Rampal:  He reportedly turned bald for his role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Ra One.

Aamir Khan: Aamir Khan known to be perfectionist went bald for his role in A.R. Murugadoss’s Ghajini.

Lisa Ray and Seema Biswas:  Actors Lisa Ray and Seema Biswas went bald for their roles in Deepa Mehta’s Water.

Antara Mali: The actress went  bald for her role in Amol Palekar’s directorial venture “And Once Again” as she played a monk in the film. However the film was not released.
