We all make mistakes in life, some teach us something new, while others we regret throughout our life. There are some opportunities that make our life and these opportunities don’t come to everyone, especially in Bollywood. One film can make or break a career and missing that one film can cost you a lot. Here are five bollywood stars who missed the opportunity of their career.

Hrithik Roshan : Hrithik has worked in some spectacular movies like Jodha Akhbar, Agneepath and Laksha and many more, but way back when he was starting his career, Hrithik turned down the role of Aakash in Dil Chahta Hai. The part eventually went to Aamir Khan and we can’t say that we’re at all sad about it.

Saif Ali Khan : The part of Raj in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge was first offered to Saif and he turned it down. We can’t deny that we are glad he did because the part went to Shah Rukh and we all know what a spectacle the film was because of Kajol and SRK’s unmatchable chemistry.

Twinkle Khanna : Karan Johar always had Twinkle in mind when he thought up the character of Tina in his directorial debut Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. However, when the part was offered to her she declined it and it later went to Rani Mukherjee. 

Kareena Kapoor : Kareena turned down the part of Naina in the film Kal Ho Na Ho. Preity Zinta who play that character went on to win a Filmfare award for Best Actress for it and the film is one of the most remembered films of her career.
