Film
production is not a child’s play and requires attention to different verticals
of film-making. The smooth sailing of film-making process is one of the key
task that the producer has to take care of. However, producing a film for the
first time and making a mark amongst the audience with your first production
venture is a great feat to achieve. There are a few Bollywood actors, actresses
and even photographers who have nailed it in their debut as producers. Here is

John Abraham : The muscle-man
of Bollywood, John Abraham turned producer with Vicky Donor, a film that not only turned out be a big hit and
received great response from the audience and the industry people, but even gave the industry, two talented actors, Ayushmann Khuranna and Yami Gautam, who won
several hearts and laurels for their promising performances. Even today, the
film still is strongly recollected for its various elements. 

Akshay Kumar : The
Khiladi Kumar, after co-producing several hit films, decided to go solo with a
brilliant film like OMG – Oh My God.
Starring one of Akshay’s oldest and closest actor friend, Paresh Rawal, this
film went on to become cult classic and helped Akshay earn a lot of moolah. The
film was a big hit and was applauded for its strong message. The film was
inspired from a play which Akshay attended and got inspired from. Interestingly,
Paresh Rawal had played the same character in the play which he played in the
film. 

Anushka Sharma : The
diva, after enthralling a million people with her brilliant acting skills, turned
producer with film NH10 in which she played the protagonist, and once again did
a fantastic job. The film earned rave reviews and was well appreciated by the audience
for its strong content. It was a successful stint by the actress.

Atul Kasbekar : Photographer Atul Kasbekar, who also runs a
Celebrity Management Company, entered into film production with a biopic on the
brave-heart Neerja Bhanot who was assassinated while saving her passengers during
the hijack of Pan Am flight. The recently released biopic Neerja is garnering tremendous applaud from critics, audience and
industry insiders alike.
