After
last year’s smashing display of two-heroine films, where, duo of leading
actresses came together to create some history on silver screen with films like
Bajirao Mastani and Dil Dhadakne Do, this year too, the
power of two will lead some films making it heroine-dominated year. Let’s take
a look at some 2016 films which will be led by two actresses:

Fitoor : Fitoor will witness some
never-seen-before, screen sharing of Tabu and Katrina Kaif, though one cannot
be compared to the other but they are undoubtedly two most powerful actresses
of Bollywood and the top stars too. Although the audience’s dream of watching
Rekha and Katrina still remains a dream, it will be a visual delight to see
Tabu essay the role of Katrina’s mother in Abhishek Kapoor directorial!

Sarabjit : Sarabjit will feature
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Richa Chadda together on screen. Doesn’t that make
for a quirky yet interesting cast? Apparently, the two will also be seen shaking a leg together for a bhangra number in
the film. Well that’s something to watch out for!

Jia aur Jia : Jia aur Jia again will showcase
a rare combination of two very powerful performers Kalki Koechlin and Richa Chadda
in a film together. Both the actresses are known for their excellent acting
skills and gave us films like Masaan
and Margarita with a straw last
year. This one will truly be performance-driven and character-oriented
film!

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil : This
Karan Johar directorial will feature Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
along with Ranbir Kapoor. It surely couldn’t get hotter and intriguing than
this! It will be an amazing trio and of course, interesting to see how the two
ladies lead the film and try to seduce Bollywood’s darling heartthrob Ranbir. Care
to comment, Katrina?

Neerja : Neerja will star the great
Shabana Azmi and the vivacious diva Sonam Kapoor together in a mother-daughter
role for the first time in a soul-stirring biopic of a brave airhostess, Neerja
Bhanot. Though, Sonam plays the protagonist, the film’s one crucial plot
focuses on the mother-daughter relation and the warmth of their relation.
