Releasing close to a biggie would give filmmakers of any other
film sleepless nights. But the makers of X:
Past is Present seem completely unperturbed about their film releasing
between Salman Khan’s Prem Ratan Dhan
Payo and Deepika Padukone-Ranbir Kapoor’s Tamasha. 

So, while PRDP
released on 12th of November, X releases on 20th and Tamasha will release on 27th November. But trade too is positive about X standing out in spite of the biggies’
pre and post release. 

A trade insider insists that the unique concept of X is
the film’s strongest point.

“Being helmed by 11 directors, the relay film is a
first of its kind in Bollywood. And with bankable actors who are all known for
their strong performances just cements the interest in the film. To top it all,
the topic itself is very interesting that is already creating a very strong
buzz among movie-goers. The trailer and poster both have been well-received and
the film is bound to follow suit,” says the insider.
